Description

When and where

10, 11 & 13 September 2024 (pm) - s-SNOM and nano-FTIR equipment and experiment demonstration (OPTIONAL)

  • Bring your own samples to try s-SNOM, nanoFTIR or AFM-IR experiments in the visible, near-infrared and mid-infrared spectral ranges in ΢Ȧ and for further tests at Attocube in Munich. ΢Ȧ's lab will be available for your tests on 10, 11 and 13 September.  Experiments will be done by Lars Mester (Attocube) and Alex Knight (΢Ȧ) - please contact Lars.Mester@attocube.com directly to arrange this with (1) A brief description of the sample and (2) Goal of the measurement (data for publication, evaluation of technology, just curious, …)
  • Demonstration by Neaspec/Attocube and ΢Ȧ staff of the new Near-field Optical Imaging and Spectroscopy Centre (NOSC) on 11 September at the Hicks Building.
  • You can indicate if you would like to attend a demonstration when you register - one hour slots will be allocated between 13:00 and 18:00
  • Venue - Hicks Building, Hounsfield Road, ΢Ȧ,  S3 7RH, UK (please wait in the main reception of the Hicks Building at the top of Hounsfield Road)
